Designed for an inter-general family of 4, this housing concept organized several sleeping / living units around a communal core for dining, lounging and entertaining. Directly overhead of this space and accessible by all units, is a large roof deck, extending the communal program to the outside.

 

On the exterior, a simplified palette of cedar, brushed aluminum and cream - colored panel contrast against one another in a playful composition of mid to light hued tones.

 

Prioritizing speed in assembly, the design team proposed a manufactured housing approach for the project with an estimated 6 month turn-key delivery.
